Happy Halloween to all who celebrate! Now that we’re deep into fall (the season of impossibly tender pot roasts and not-too-sweet sweet potato cakes), we’ve noticed that another flavor has stepped into the spotlight: maple. Its rich, caramel warmth is adding much-desired complexity to Trader Joe’s coffee creamers, ice cream, beef jerky, and practically every other major food group we can think of. You’ve seen it too, right?!

Don’t worry — there’s still plenty of pumpkin to go around (as we covered in last week’s email). You’re probably preparing to toss snack-size candies into jack-o'-lantern buckets later today — but before you do, enjoy some of our new favorite maple-forward items that make the most of cozy fall flavors.
